Why is sleep important for bodybuilding?

You may not know it but sleeping is very important in bodybuilding. This is because bodybuilding causes injury to muscles, such as torn muscles, sore muscles, pulled muscles and others. Since sleeping produces a lot of growth hormones in your body, it helps your muscles to heal faster and also allows the muscles to regenerate faster and helps you recover from muscle injuries.
