Bodybuilding Feedback: Always aim for whole grain carbs (or clean carbs, as I like to call it). And have a protein shake IMMEDIATELY after you train, otherwise your muscles will go catabolic. I’m assuming you’re trying to put on mass, so, aim for 4-6 meals a day, even spread 2 hours in between each, with at least 40-50g of protein (because this how much our body can metabolize per sitting) and always have a healthy serving of the clean carbs I mentioned. This is coming from one body builder to another, good luck. You have anymore questions, you can contact me.
Bodybuilding Feedback: If you really want to try something that is not only good for you, but you will enjoy eating the food you should read the following. About 6 months ago a friend of mine turned me on to this diet. When I first heard the name of it, I thought she was crazy. The diet is called The Asian Noodle Diet. I gave it a shot and lose 15 pounds in 2 weeks and the food was really good. The website has all the info as well as a diet plan and receips. I recommend you try this before anything else.
Bodybuilding Feedback: Working out that early, I don’t like to have much of anything to eat (just water), or maybe a little something just so my stomach doesn’t feel empty.
The first 45 minutes after a workout is the best time to take in carbs - your body will burn them right up.
I ususally can’t eat the second I stop, but within 20 to 30 minutes I feel real hungry and that’s the time to load up.
